Yasuyuki Tsutsumi will direct and write latest play
Nelke Planning opened a website on Monday to reveal that the rock musical adaptation of Tite Kubo's Bleach manga will return to theaters in Tokyo and Kyoto this summer.
The musical will run at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo and Kyoto Gekijō. Yasuyuki Tsutsumi (scriptwriter for One Piece 3D: Mugiwara Chase, One Piece Episode of Luffy: Hand Island no Bōken) will direct the musical and write the screenplay. No cast information is available as of press time.
The first Rock Musical Bleach play opened in August 2005, and the last play in the series, Shinsei Rock Musical Bleach REprise, opened in August 2012. The various plays have drawn approximately 180,000 people.
