Bandai Namco Ent. develops 3DS Dragon Ball RPG for release this year
The official website for Bandai Namco Entertainment's Dragon Ball Project Fusion Nintendo 3DS game began streaming a teaser video for the game on Friday, revealing the game's new title as Dragon Ball Fusions. The video previews the game's new worlds, which consist of locations in the Dragon Ball universe that have fused. The end of the video teases a fusion between Goku and Broly.
The game will put a large focus on fusion characters. By using a Capsule Corp-made bracelet, new fusions called "EX Fusions" have become possible. New fusions include Karoly (Kakarot (Goku) x Broly; spelled the same way as "calorie" in Japanese), Gorillin (young Goku x Krillin), Krigohan (Gohan x Krillin; a pun on the word chestnut rice), and Prillin (Piccolo x Krillin).
The March issue of V Jump magazine had teased the game with the following text:
The latest Dragon Ball game will have unlimited possibilities.
The 3DS' first fusion RPG is coming in 2016.
The emergency plan starts now. You will create your own Fusion Warrior!
The game is slated for the Nintendo 3DS this year. A manga adaptation of the game debuted in Shueisha's Saikyo Jump magazine on April 1.
