Furuya's Teiichi no Kuni manga ended in Jump Square last week
This year's June issue of Shinchosha's Go Go Bunch magazine revealed on Saturday that Usamaru Furuya's Joshikōsei ni Korosaretai (I Want to be Killed by a High School Girl) manga will end in the 12th issue of the magazine on July 9.
Joshikōsei ni Korosaretai follows a man who becomes a teacher because he wants to be killed by a beautiful high school girl, even though he doesn't particularly want to die. Furuya began the manga in Go Go Bunch in 2013, andShinchosha shipped the first compiled volume in February 2015.
Furuya had announced on Twitter in December that he intended to end the manga this year. He also announced that he plans to begin a new work in 2016.
Furuya published the final chapter of his Teiichi no Kuni manga in the May issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine last week. The manga's story follows the high school student Teiichi Akaba and his student government struggles at a private boys' school in Shōwa-era Japan. Shueisha shipped the 13th compiled book volume on January 4, and the 14th and final volume will ship on May 2.
