Abe plays assassin in March 25 film based on Yusei Matsui's manga
This year's eighth issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that Tsuyoshi Abe (live-action Hana Yori Dango) will play the assassin Red Eye in Ansatsu Kyōshitsu: Sotsugyō-hen (Assassination Classroom ~Graduation Edition~), the second live-action Assassination Classroom (Ansatsu Kyōshitsu) film. The magazine also revealed a photo of Abe in costume as the character (pictured below).
The film has also cast Mirei Kiritani (seen below, top photograph) as Aguri Yukimura, and Hiroki Narimiya (below photograph) as Kōtarō Yanagisawa.

The first live-action film adaptation opened in Japan on last March. The Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal hosted the film's international premiere last July. The Fantastic Fest film festival, held in Austin, Texas from September to October, screened the film's U.S. premiere.
Eiichirō Hasumi (Umizaru films, Wild 7) directed the film, and Tatsuya Kanazawa (Saru Lock The Movie, Lucky Seven) wrote the script.
Viz Media is publishing Yusei Matsui's original manga in North America, and it describes the story:
A humorous and action-packed story about a class of misfits who are trying to kill their new teacher – an alien octopus with bizarre powers and super strength! The teacher has just destroyed the moon and is threatening to destroy the earth – unless his students can destroy him first. What makes things more complicated is that he's the best teacher they've ever had!
The first television anime series premiered in Japan last January, and Funimation streamed the series as it aired. A second series premiered on January 7. Funimation is streaming the series as it airs in Japan.
