Manga's 16th volume to bundle OVA on July 4
This year's third issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine will announce on Wednesday that Kikuko Inoue (Black Cat's Sephira, Ah! My Goddess' Belldandy) will play Sephie Michaela Deviluke, the mother of the Deviluke sisters, in the original video anime (OVA) that will bundle with the 16th volume of Saki Hasemi and Kentaro Yabuki's To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness manga. The bundle will ship on July 4, 2016.
The OVA will adapt the manga's 49th chapter ("Mother ~Utsukushisugiru Tenshi~") and 50th chapter ("Charm ~Idai Naru Haha~").
A second new OVA volume will ship with the 17th manga volume on December 2, 2016. The anime's official website held a fan poll for which chapter the OVA should adapt. The website and Jump Square will announce the results of the December 21-January 25 poll this summer.
Kentaro Yabuki and Saki Hasemi's To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness manga, a sequel of the first To Love-Ru -Trouble- series, launched in Jump Square in 2010. The series has over 14 million copies in print. Sentai Filmworks licensed the 2012 television anime series, and The Anime Network streamed the series in North America.
The second season, To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness 2nd, premiered on July 6, and Sentai Filmworks has licensed the series for home video. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it airs in Japan.
