Ketsui to open in Japan on March 12 with theme songs by Kouji Wada
The promotional movie for the second film in the Digimon Adventure tri. film series, Digimon Adventure tri. Ketsui (Determination), debuted on the films' website on Friday.
Like the first video, the new video ends with a teaser for the third part, Digimon Adventure tri.Kokuhaku (Confession), which will open this summer. In the second teaser which promises a new development in the story, Patamon says (silently), "Sayonara, Takeru" (T.K.), and Takeru replies by yelling Patamon's name.
The second film will open for a limited three-week run in Japanese theaters on March 12. It will also be available online for a fee on the same day, and theaters will offer an early limited edition Blu-ray Disc. The Blu-ray Disc and DVD will then debut at regular retailers on April 2.
Kouji Wada performed the ending theme song "Seven ~tri.Version~" for the second film, and Wada's "Butter-Fly ~tri.Version~" song will continue to be the opening theme for the second film.
Crunchyroll is streaming the "first four episodes" of the Digimon Adventure tri. anime for users in the United States, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America. Crunchyroll will stream the "next chapter" of the series in March 2016.
